Data link layer

Hey there guys,
In this video i have  discussed about the 2nd layer of the OSI model i.e. Data Link layer, Please feel free to suggest anything, Feedback are always open.

So Data link Header and tail along with data packet and will further be changed as Frame. Header have source MAC and destination MAC and tail have CRC number through which we can check the error in the Frame i.e. transferred.

I am currently using CISCO 2960 CATALYST POE with 24 ports and i.e. a layer 3 switch. Yes there are switches that works as layer 3 devices but they are very few in most switch is layer 2 device and is designed to learn MAC address only but some switches are capable to work as a layer 3 devices as they can assign IP address and use in place of routers. These layer 3 switches are also know as Multilayer Switches.
So we finally get Frame as the output after adding data link header and tail from packet.
So that it from this blog we have covered almost every part of the transport layer but if you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Thanks alot for reading i will see you in  my next blog.
